RALPH J. MELLUSI – Mr. Mellusi is a graduate of New York State Maritime College and holds a United States Coast Guard license as a marine engineer. He served on merchant vessels during the Vietnam War before receiving his law degree from New York Law School in 1974. He has been admitted to practice since 1975. He has extensive experience in handling complex cases involving injuries and death of workers. He is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association and the Maritime Law Association. He has extensive trial experience achieving significant 7 figure settlements and jury verdicts, in addition to trying cases before the Office of Administrative Law Judges and the Benefits Review Board, and the Department of Labor.


JACOB SHISHA – Mr. Shisha is also a graduate of New York Maritime College and holds a United States Coast Guard license as a third mate. He sailed on merchant vessels before obtaining his law degree from Tulane University in 1983. Mr. Shisha has handled many significant cases under the Longshore and Harbor Workers Compensation Act, including Guilles v SeaLand, and Fleischmann v BRB, in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and has handled numerous cases before the Department of Labor, the Office of Administrative Law Judges and the Benefit Review Board. Mr. Shisha has tried numerous jury trials and has obtained verdicts exceeding $2,500,000.00. He is a member of Maritime Law Association and the American Trial Lawyer Association.


STEPHEN B. ROBERTS – Mr. Roberts is of counsel to the firm having obtained his J.D. law degree from New York University School of Law in 1971 and his LLM law degree from New York University School of Law in 1973. He has been a member of the New York State Bar since 1972 and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of New York, Southern District of New York, Northern District of New York and Southern District of Indiana as well as the United States Second Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the New York County Lawyer's Association. Mr. Roberts has extensively handled matters involving injury and death in addition to matters involving Federal Compensation.
